Chablis, France

Chablis is a small village in the northwest corner of Burgundy where beautiful Chardonnays are produced with little or no oak aging.  These wines, especially the Grand Crus, are very high in acid but are wonderfully balanced with a nice finish.

We had the opportunity to have our first lunch and wine tasting in Chablis. It was a great way to start our trip and first visit to Burgundy.
